Lydia Velasco initial works were muted and monochromatic. Over time, Velasco developed her art, medium and style. She eventually focus on women as her subjects. Women who is strong, vigorous, hardworking and independent which reflect Lydia Velasco's inner self. Lydia's portray woman as the ideal Filipino woman from their own perception of themselves.

Lydia Velaso studied Fine Arts, Majoring in Advertising the the University of Sto. Tomas, she worked for the advertising agency right after she graduated college. It was 1988 when she finally ventured into entrepreneurship of the advertising photography and graphic designs.

Lydia Velasco's works were subdued and had a monochromatic color scheme. As time passed, Velasco refined her art by exploring different mediums and developing her unique style. Eventually, she shifted her focus to portraying strong, robust, hardworking, and independent women, which reflected her own inner self. Lydia's representations of women embodied the ideal Filipino woman from their own perspective.

Lydia Velasco pursued a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Advertising at the University of Sto. Tomas. After completing her college education, she worked for an advertising agency. It wasn't until 1988 that she ventured into entrepreneurship, offering advertising photography and graphic design services.
