Product Description

Mari Zhar Carvill, an emerging artist that speaks her truth in the Filipino art scene. Her work shows how closely art and personal stories are linked by inspiration from the poetry of everyday life,

Mari Zhar uses a wide range of materials, such as oil, acrylic, wire, stone and clay, to express the tales she writes with great attention to detail and endless creativity. On canvas, in combination of acrylic and oil paints bring her modern abstract expressionism visions to life. She turns stories into real things through sculpture, which lets people become part of her world,

Her signature style, a combination of modern abstract expressionism and fauvism, seen at the heart of Mari Zhar's work; and at times even her monotone series, which may give that single tone in life, allows viewers to feel different colors of emotions meant to make you sense everything. Each piece gives you a glimpse into her deepest feelings and thoughts, showing how art can cross boundaries and reveal insights that are relevant to everyone. Her trips around Europe, USA and Asia have given her work a lot of different cultural influences, giving each piece a sense of worldly wisdom and mystery.

Her ongoing study into art therapy has been marked by a constant search for healing,_self-expression and self-discovery. Mari Zhar Carvill's art works invite us to see her personal journey as a women advocating empowerment, equity, equality; and as she shares her truth in utmost nakedness.

Mari Zhar Carvill

I've always been fascinated by creativity-how a simple words when put together can become a bestselling novel, or how a few colors can transform a blank canvas into powerful expression. I'm drawn to museums and churches during my travels, often finding solace and inspiration there. When I seek change or new discoveries, I travel and pray, reconnecting with myself and the world.

My creative journey has taken me across continents-from Europe's cobblestone streets to the vibrant energy of the U.S. and the spiritual depth of Asia. All the more these experiences have broadened my worldview and shaped my path. As the saying goes, "all art is pain suffered and outlived.". All my artworks are painted from tears of joy, to death like pain. Each hold a story, an experience, a message. Everything is personal. My art speak through color and movement, while my sculptures give shape to emotion, memory, and truth.

ART is my tool for healing and transformation. After overcoming dark moments in life, I've come to believe that, alongside prayer, art helps people process emotions and find strength. It's now my goal to become an Art Therapist, particularly for women who've been abandoned people they once called family. Women lost in the process of separation, hormones and life crisis. I aim to create spaces where people can express and work through their emotions through art.

I am deeply committed to this journey, and each day, I seek strength to remain true to my calling. With every brushstroke and sculpture, I aim to inspire reflection and foster connection. To every woman who feels worn down, remember-

you are not alone.
You are enough,
and your voice,
your presence matter.

Through my work, I hope to ignite transformation, not only in others but in the generations to come, especially in empowering women to rise, to fight, and to embrace their worth.
