Roves Solar (b. 1994) is a contemporary artist from Cabugao, Ilocos Sur and is currently based in Quezon City. Solar is a graduate of Fine Arts degree majoring in Visual Communication from the University of Northern Philippines. As a visionary queer artist, she explores themes of unconventional beauty, queerness, and women empowerment through her stylized, elongated subjects; and her unique defaced art style that encourages the viewers to celebrate and appreciate the beauty in imperfections. Her art also takes inspiration from movies, songs, and fashion. She is dedicated to growth and still continues experimenting with various themes and techniques.

Her art has been featured in magazines and has joined several art fairs, local and international exhibitions like World Art Dubai 2024 and The Art Shopping 2024 fair in Paris. She has also won local art competitions and has been selected as one of the Finalists in Sining Filipina 2024 in the Representational category.
