Morris Labana is a natural-born artist whose unwavering determination fuels his passion for navigating the ever-evolving art world. Hailing from a family of artists on Samar Island, Morris inherited his artistic gift from his father, Pastor Wilfredo Labana.

Morris's artistic vision is rooted in preserving the soul of the past while reimagining it through a modern lens. His renowned series, "The Thread of the Past," weaves together emotions and memories using symbolic golden threads that have become a distinct signature in his work.

He formally began his career in the art industry in 2013 and has since participated in numerous exhibitions, competitions, and workshops across the Philippines-constantly honing his craft. In 2023, his work was showcased in three group exhibitions at Galerva Amalia: "Critics' Choice." "Art of the Zillennials." and "Langis at Tubig." His artistry has also been featured in the Philippine Daily Inquirer and highlighted in top-tier auction houses such as Leon Gallery and Salcedo Auctions between 2019 and 2021
