On his magical canvases, Vicson Apostol has created communities, with "crystal houses". Crystals, as we all know, are magical objects, born out of the burning love of Mother Earth and considered as solidified light emitted by the Cosmos.

Living amid a global health crisis brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, and the economic recessions that followed the series of government-imposed lockdowns, his Crystal House Series is a breath of fresh air.

The colorful houses, rendered in whimsical style--a signature of Apostol--signify that desire of restoring, somehow, the orderliness and peace that we have lost during the height of the pandemic, made worse by wrong decisions by policymakers and other people in power. This theory seems to be evidenced by each careful brush strokes that the artist has applied to create these magnificent pieces of art.
