Javier, hailing from Caloocan, had his first encounter with the world of art during his formative years. His uncles handed him a chalk and urged him to draw on the floor, an experience that left a lasting impression on him. This encounter ignited Javier's passion for the arts, which eventually led him to pursue a degree in Fine Arts with a specialization in Advertising from the Technological University of the Philippines.
During his college years, Javier's engagement with painting deepened as he actively participated in various art competitions both within and beyond the academic realm. Following his graduation, he embarked on a career as a muralist and later expanded his horizons by venturing abroad to work as a graphic artist for advertising agencies.
Returning to his homeland in 2015, Javier immersed himself in the art competition scene. Enriched by his international experiences, he decided to experiment with a new artistic approach in 2016 for the GSIS National Art Competition, specifically in the Non-Representational category. Inspired by reproductive science, Javier ingeniously employed squeeze bottles to craft art that resembled sperm cells, infusing a distinctive and unconventional element into his work.
