Product Description

‘A Siren’s Cosmic Dream’ captures the longing of a siren reaching beyond the waves, dreaming of galaxies instead of shorelines. It’s dreaming beyond what you can imagine while tethered to the shimmering reality—like a mermaid caught between the pull of the sea and the mystery of the stars.

This series is dedicated to women whose dreams are often deferred, not by lack of desire, but by the sacred interruptions of life: birth, caregiving, duty. The siren, in her celestial longing, becomes a symbol of every woman who has ever paused her pursuit to nurture another life, to hold space for others, to anchor herself in the tides of expectation.

The blue palette speaks to the depth of that longing—vast, intuitive, and cosmic. It’s the color of both ocean and sky, of womb and wonder. The siren doesn’t stop dreaming; she simply dreams differently. She learns to sing her desires in lullabies, to paint her ambitions in quiet hours, to stretch her spirit toward the stars even when her body is grounded.

This series is deeply personal. It mirrors my own journey—where art was once a dream behind motherhood, behind grief, behind the rituals of daily life. But like the siren, I’ve learned that dreams don’t disappear when paused. They deepen. They gather power. And when pursued with intention, they rise—radiant, unapologetic, and cosmic.

Moondrift is the gentle motion between lunar tides and dreaming states—a slow, intuitive flow where emotions rise and fall like waves, and the soul drifts toward what it longs for.

Celestia is divine and sparkling—like a siren’s starlit echo, shimmering with the magic of dreams cast into the cosmos and whispered back through light.

Nebuline is a dreamlike fusion of nebula and sublime—a celestial veil with drifting colors like stardust and emotions expanding beyond form, inviting the viewer into a space of quiet awe and cosmic tenderness.

Kristine Legaspi De Jesus

Kristine Legaspi De Jesus

Kristine “Kutz” De Jesus is a Filipina artist, wife, and mother whose creative evolution, which began in 2024, marks a significant departure from her previous two-decade-long corporate career. Known in the digital domain as @whilemykidsaresleeping, Kutz’s foray into intuitive art emerged during the pandemic, sparked by a personal invitation from a friend to share her expressive works. This catalyst led to a pivotal transformation, both personally and professionally, as she shifted from a structured career path to the open, often unpredictable space of full-time artistry.

Her Story

Before diving into the world of art, she spent nearly two decades in the corporate scene, armed with a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from De La Salle University and a professional license as a CPA. After weaving through multinational companies and the intricacies of finance, project management, service and operations management, a deep desire for creative expression led her to switch gears and pursue a career in art.

Her debut in the gallery world occurred in January 2024, with a contribution to Art Anton’s Fractals group show, a moment that positioned her work within broader artistic discourse. This initial exhibition marked the beginning of a productive and transformative year, which saw Kutz participate in four additional group exhibitions and showcase her work at significant art events such as the Xavier Artfest and The Manila Bang Show. Her first solo exhibition in September 2024 followed by her second solo on January 2025 further solidified her place within the contemporary art scene. Kutz’s practice is defined by its deeply intuitive nature, wherein emotion, spontaneity, and personal experience converge. The works embody a delicate balance between self-expression and the desire to explore the universal dimensions of freedom, identity, and vulnerability.

Her Art

Her work remains a profound interrogation of the tensions between the personal and the universal, offering viewers a compelling space for reflection on the fluidity of identity and the multifaceted roles of artist, wife, and mother. Through this ongoing exploration, Kutz’s art challenges the boundaries of conventional expression, inviting both intellectual engagement and visceral response to the dynamic and transformative power of the creative process.

Beyond a creative outlet, art has become her meditation—a space to find focus and reconnect with herself on a deeper level.  A medium through which focus is found, and self-reconnection on a profound level is attained.  Her story is one of transformation, transitioning from corporate presentations to crafting tales of emotions through her artistic endeavors, with colors that bring joy to those who experience her work.
