Product Description

Dominic Rubio’s artistic journey began over two decades ago at the University of Santo Tomas, where he studied Fine Arts. Initially envisioning a career in advertising working for the multinational agency Puris Lintas. Rubio’s path took a creative turn when he became a resident artist at Pearl Farm Resort in Davao del Sur. There, his encounters with the Mandaya, Tiboli, Badjao, and B’laan tribes of Mindanao deepened his understanding of Filipino culture and identity.

These experiences shaped Rubio’s signature style portraying Filipinos, their traditions, and daily lives with nostalgic elegance. His art has since become a defining representation of Philippine identity, celebrated both locally and internationally. Today, his works are highly sought after by collectors from the Philippines, the United States, Canada, France, England, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, with exhibitions held across major art hubs worldwide.
