Joseph Albao, a self-taught visual artist hailed from Padre Garcia, Batangas renowned for his figurative expressionism and to his impasto techniques.  He emphases the importance of expression and gestures in his art, by the glamour emotions on every anatomical movements, to his personas that shows mysterious glimpse that tells us to keep dreaming for the things that we really desire deeply in our souls. 

He shows the importance of families and paying tribute to our Filipino laborers, and their daily life. By his works he showcase the reflection of our countrymen that faces the continues cycle of living. He also interweaved the classical and modern style in his paintings that express a juxtapose composition to convey his answers  to the dilemma of our society. By his upright calling to his art that expose a strong emotions but plays in an indirect response to the viewers to give us the curiosity to seek the veiled answers in his masterpieces.

He used to work as Mural Artist in Art Department of Philippine Television before he became a full-time visual artist. He is also a multi awarded visual artist. Among under his belt is the Manila Bulletin National Art Competition and a finalist of GSIS Art Competition non- representational category. First place in Pig Sining: A Fine art Contest, First place in "HeArt" National Art competition Honorable Mention in Lakbay Sining Art Contest Finalists in Alveo National Art Contest, PCSO National Painting Contest, Philippine pastel Painting contest, GSIS Painting Contest and many more. His work exhibited in Germany, Paris France, The Netherlands, Belgium Brussels, South Korea, China, Hongkong, Singapore and Vietnam.

 Albao plays a crucial role in fostering artistic communities. As a founder of several art groups, including Vice Versa Artists Group 2012, Chroma Garcia Artists Group 2019, Sihay Lipa Artists Group 2022 and Ala Prima Artists Group 2024, He establihed Sidera Art Caravan that serves as a mini Art Exhibit, Suloy Art Mentoring, and Advance Suloy Art Mentoring Program. These initiatives provide platforms for budding artists, particularly the youth, to cultivate their talents, gain exposure through exhibitions, and connect with potential collectors. Joseph's commitment extends further through workshops and hands-on art tutorials hosted at his own residence and travel different province,  fostering a supportive environment for young artists to flourish.
