Carlos "Cee" Cadid, an acclaimed Filipino artist renowned for his expertise in creating realistic portraits, was born in Hagonoy, Bulacan in 1954. His professional career in the art industry began in 1976, when he joined the prestigious "Saturday Group," which was then led by the prominent artist H. R. Ocampo.
Throughout his artistic journey, Cee had the privilege of working closely with renowned artist Sonofrio Y. Mendoza, who provided him with valuable guidance and inspiration. This mentorship played a significant role in shaping Cee's artistic talents and helped him hone his skills to the level where he is now considered one of the most exceptional portrait and realism artists in the Philippines.
Over the years, Cee has created numerous remarkable artworks, including portraits of prominent figures such as the Juan Ponce Enrile family, Ramon Cojuangco, Freddie Aguilar, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Guingona, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray, and many more.
