Raisa Que (b.1991) is a self-taught visual artist from Manila. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts at the De La Salle College of Saint Benilde, where she learned to hone her artistic talents and passions. Taking a hiatus from painting after her first job, it was during the pandemic that she started to paint again, continuing to practice and improve her technical skill.

Raisa’s inspiration comes from her earnest appreciation for life and its nuances – simple yet impactful depending on how one interprets it. Listening to classical music is also one of her strong influences. Finding resonance in everyday objects, humans and activity, Raisa intuitively transforms her vivid imagination into luminescent illustrations of recurring lines, shapes, and forms bolstered with accents of color and texture; opulent yet harmonious in a sense where the elements ultimately find balance.
