Joy is the first daughter and the fourth child of seven Blanco siblings of the famed Blanco family of artists. She was born on February 3, 1968 and started drawing at the age of seven and was able to paint her first human portraits at the age of ten. She loves to paint people of different ages capturing their emitions on canvas. She have an intense interest in capturing character and colors.

Joy with the family have travelled, exhibited and done workshops to different places of our country and other countries like spain, hawaii, singapore, china and usa.
