Ram Mallari Jr

Bataan-based Filipino Artist Ram Mallari Jr. studied Architecture in college. Even though he didn't complete his education, his expertise in metal fabrication and construction led him to seize opportunities in the Middle East.

In 2011, by chance, Mr. Mallari's mix of various materials and discarded items caught attention, taking him from a local radio interview to international recognition on TV and radio.

In 2013, his impressive "Steampunk Art" creation, named "The Last Tree," a monumental 10ft sculpture at Ayala Nuvali, became a hit. More international exhibits followed, along with workshops in Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

In 2015, he became the first Filipino Artist on the front cover of World Sculpture News. His artworks symbolize Integrity and Perpetualism, seen in Monumental Sculptures for the 500th Anniversary of the Philippine National Police, like the Lapu-Lapu Steampunk Sculpture and "Modern Police" sculpture in 2021.

After a decade-long journey, Mr. Mallari plans to complete his Art Museum in Dinalupihan, Bataan. One of his ambitious projects, the suspended airship "Fort Malasimbo," is set to become the largest known steampunk sculpture.
