Collection: Willet Esquilona
Willet Esquilona finished her BFA with a major in Advertising at Philippine Women's University.
Her first job in the advertising and production industry was with RS Video Film Productions as an artist and animator (1984-1990). After working for six consecutive years, she decided to set her sights on her first love -painting.
Realism is her preferred style, and watercolor and acrylic are her mediums of choice. She also explored abstraction by combining painting and collage. Lately, she's discovered that she's also good at digital arts. Her subjects are often portraits of family and friends.
On the other side, she also doubles up as an event decorator. Esquilona's advice to all up-and-coming artists is, "Don't quit; just keep going. As the saying goes, good things come to those who wait!"
