Vita et Amor: A Celebration of Bond Between Life and Love
Art is a powerful medium to express one’s emotions, thoughts, and experiences. It can also be a way to celebrate the most precious aspects of human existence, such as life and love. This is the theme of the group art exhibit by ARTVII, a collective of seven talented and passionate artists who share a common vision.
The exhibit, titled Vita et Amor, which means life and love in Latin, showcases the works of Norman Francis Juban - Blanco, R2 Tolentino, Jao Mapa, Krishnamurti, Dino Blanco, and Marko Bello. Each artist has their own unique perspective and technique, but they all explore the same subject matter: the bond between mother and child. Some of the artworks also include fathers and other representations of family and friendship.
The exhibit aims to capture the essence of life and love through the eyes of the artists, who use various mediums such as oil, and acrylic. The artworks depict the beauty, joy, and challenges of parenthood, as well as the unconditional love and care that mothers give to their children. The exhibit also celebrates the diversity and richness of Filipino culture, as the artists draw inspiration from their own backgrounds and experiences.
Vita et Amor is a tribute to the mothers and children who are the source of life and love for many people. It is also an invitation to the viewers to appreciate and cherish their own relationships and to express their gratitude and affection through art.
