Collection: Noel Pascual
Noel Pascual, born in San Miguel, Manila in 1961, pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising at the Philippine Women's University (PWU) in 1987. During his studies, he formed close relationships with mentors Ibarra de la Rosa, Raul Isidro, and Boy Rodriguez, who greatly influenced his artistic development. After graduation, Pascual often visited the Imelda Gardens on the Laguna and Quezon provincial boundary to paint the 3,000 varieties of flowers in their natural habitat.
He worked at Coronet Advertising, the marketing arm of Hallmark and Gift Gate, and participated in international art festivals, including the Hudson Artists 35th Regional Annual in New Jersey, the Artists Festival in SoHo, the Filipino Arts and Crafts Fair in New York, and the Filipino Visual-Arts Festival in 1988. Renowned for his floral paintings, Pascual held his first solo exhibition titled "Flowers" at the Heritage Art Center in 1989. He was elected to the Art Association of the Philippines (AAP) board in 1986 and won the grand prize in the Safety Organization of the Philippines' Poster Design Competition during his junior year of college.
