Collection: Millet Sacerdoti
Millet Galeos-Sacerdoti is a self-taught Filipino artist and has been drawing and designing since 1986. After college, she did freelance work doing desktop publications, portraiture; stage production, sewing and needlecraft, package design and home and office interior design. In the mid-90’s, she was a visual display artist for a fashion retail company. She retired from corporate work at age 40 due to disability and has turned to art as therapy.
Millet has been a full-time painter since 2012. Millet’s art style is contemporary and abstract, mostly psychedelic and highly textured. Her subjects are imagined flora, hidden messages, traditional symbols, lucky charms, patterns and extreme mood depictions. Her thematic grasp is multilayered, constantly drawing you back for another look, only to find something new that passed you by the first time.
