Collection: Martin Lopez
MARTIN C. LOPEZ Jr. is an inspired and intuitive artisan from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya and currently residing in Imus,Cavite.
He finished his bachelor degree in Accountancy at St. Mary's University in
Nueva Vizcaya to be a government worker for culture and arts at Cultural Center of the Philippines.
Being part of the premiere organization for arts and culture and also a brother of another visual artist, he is very much exposed with different types and forms of arts. He drew his inspiration for contemporary arts from unlikely things around him and turning those trifles into a brilliant work of art. His interest in abstract painting dawned during pandemic. Intuitively, he expressed his ideals and thoughts using powdered eggshell, chads and staple wires as medium to add more textures, impressions and deeper meaning to his arts.
His notable art pieces were sold to and commissioned by his friends and colleagues from all over the Philippines and are now displayed conspicuously in their respective houses.0
