Collection: Marlon Constantino
Marlon Constantino, born in the town of General Mariano Alvarez (G.M.A) Cavite on October 18, 1981, a chess enthusiast and player since he was a kid. A member of the varsity team in Cavite when he was in Elementary and High School. He was able to pursue Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Philippine Christian University as a member of the NCAA chess team at that time. Marlon was able to compete in several competitions as a professional chess player, bringing home gold medals and trophies. He was also given the chance to compete internationally, and their team apparently won the gold medal in the 32nd Astro Rapid International Open Team Chess Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2012. In 2014, he has also granted the opportunity to compete in Singapore for the world cup amateur chess championship.
During this pandemic, Marlon was able to uncover another aspect of himself, the artists. As a chess afficionado, he was able to produce paintings based on his beloved game's concepts. His art consists of abstract paintings on canvas using acrylic painting specialized in modern chess art impressions.
