Collection: Lydia Velasco

Lydia Velasco's works were subdued and had a monochromatic color scheme. As time passed, Velasco refined her art by exploring different mediums and developing her unique style. Eventually, she shifted her focus to portraying strong, robust, hardworking, and independent women, which reflected her own inner self. Lydia's representations of women embodied the ideal Filipino woman from their own perspective.

Lydia Velasco pursued a degree in Fine Arts with a major in Advertising at the University of Sto. Tomas. After completing her college education, she worked for an advertising agency. It wasn't until 1988 that she ventured into entrepreneurship, offering advertising photography and graphic design services.
