Collection: Jonet Carpio

Jonet draws his inspiration from his grandfather. As a child, his grandpa often drew birds, and they spent a lot of time together creating art. For Jonet, photography is another form of art; he draws ideas and design patterns from it, which he then incorporates into his own work. Many of his pieces carry deep meanings, often focused on themes like wildlife conservation, the environment, and cultural preservation. One of his childhood memories that shaped his work is a story about a house he would pass by. He felt a sense of fear whenever he walked by it, causing him to run quickly past it.

Back then there were no other houses beside it and since l appreciate the house structure and to preserve the memory of it thinking that someday the will be gone or maybe demolished or whatever I had to draw it. I don't look at it as a change, l'd pursue my craft no matter what because it's my passion. No, I'm not afraid as long as it makes
me happy and as long as creativity flows, there's money in arts. To be successful in the field of art you have to be original and
not think of income first, it will follow.
