Although he painted the background and the subject neither fully complete nor in a defined manner, yet he could always make any scene look idyllic. The powerful movement, the graceful & realistic rain, & the bright colours of the event are key characteristics of his Romantic painting.

Pabilando is a self-taught artist who has won multiple awards and participated in several exhibitions here and abroad. He Bagged, the Grand Prize at the 12th Watercolor Festival 'Confluences in France" in 2019 and 2nd prize in the recent GSIS art competition 2023 for Representational category.
He once said he wishes his works not to be identified as photographs. Rather, he wants his
"paintings to look like a painting."
