Collection: Edmund Balan

Edmund Balan is a self-taught PWD artist. Born in Borongan City, Eastern Samar, Philippines.

During his early years he works as a commercial artist in his uncle's art shop.  Because of his talent he was discovered and encouraged by the local DSWD to participate the regional and national poster and painting competitions for the persons with disability which he constantly winning.

Edmund artworks are: still life, landscape/seascape, portrait/figures, and cultural even to daily ordinary people lives in the province. Most of his works style in some like abstract impressionism.

Edmund is an active member of SiRAK art group in Borongan and recently a member of Kasugbong art group in Leyte. Which he joined numerous art group exhibits in Visayan region and in some Luzon area.
