Hesitant at first, she didn't try painting until college. Upon realizing that anyone is capable of holding a brush and as long as an individual is willing to explore, one can paint. Self-taught in painting, she made her second portrait "vacation hat" and entered it in faber0castell's sining awards and received an honorable mention.
To satisfy her curiosity and further explore art mediums, she joined the Philippine association of printmakers. And in 2010, with the members of Pap, she exhibited her work "stare" in Malaysia's Penang International Print Exhibition.
