Collection: Antonio Bandalan

Antonio Lora Bandalan graduated from Feati University with a degree of Bachelor in Fine Arts. He is merited as a finalist in the Nayong Filipino Annual Competition in 1976 and later joined the roster of artists.

Antonio andalan goes above and beyond in his re-creation of scent through visual depiction. Utilizing his skill in chiaroscuro, his controlled application of dappled shadows initially invites depth to produce contrast to the main body. The main protagonist of his masterpiece are the flowers naturally but depicted in a riot of colors to recrete the notes and muodulation of scent.

As a master crafter of colors, the luminous vivcaity of pastel hues serve to evole memories of perfumes, sweets and childhood memories thus simulating the subtle subliminal effts of scent in a visual  manner.
