HAROLD “D-LORAH” MACABITAS is a contemporary artist from Mindanao whose passion lies in painting on canvas using oil and acrylic. Deeply inspired by the Philippines’ rich history, vibrant traditions, and natural beauty, he creates works that embody pride in Filipino culture and the enduring spirit of the “Filipino dreamer”—a symbol of resilience, hope, and perseverance. Guided by faith, D-Lorah believes that while human vision is limited, God’s plan is all-encompassing, a perspective that gives depth and meaning to his artistic practice.
D-Lorah has been featured in esteemed publications such as SunStar Davao and the Philippine Star, and included in the book Sa Piling Ni Nanay in Manila. He has exhibited in major art events including Mindanao Art, Sentro Artista Philippines, and at the Batasang Pambansa, representing Mindanao on a national platform and engaging with artists across the country.
