Product Description

Katrina Ong (b. 1987) is a fine artist and jewelry designer who has been using beadwork as her art form since 2012. She designs body jewelries, statement necklaces, earrings and bracelets that turns into stunning art with stories to tell. Her pieces have been featured in Hollywood, runways, and international magazines. With a degree of BS Communications Technology Management in Ateneo De Manila University, she uses her knowledge in communication and marketing to venture into the artisan world.

As a visual artist, she has been painting since she was 12 years old and loves painting fantasy, femininity, and beauty. With acrylic paint as her main medium, her style is hip and youthful, using vibrant colors and playing with strokes and splashes. She loves transforming images into vivid and lively art that conveys a lot of energy and emotions. Her last exhibits are in Altro Mondo Gallery in Makati in November 2022, and at the UWAAP 9th anniversary exhibit in Galerya Amalia at LRI Design Plaza in January 2023.

She was also a former Features Editor who worked in the publishing industry for more than 7 years ending in the pandemic. She eventually ventured into poetry and creative writing, combining them with her art. Her works are all powered by God, who is her main inspiration and love in life.
