Dr. Cheng first took a course in fine arts, but was forced by his father to pursue medicine at the University of the East – Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center (UERMMMC).\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none white-space-prewrap\"\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"cvGsUA direction-ltr align-justify para-style-body\"\u003e\u003cspan class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"\u003eDr. Cheng would later take his residency at the\u003cspan\u003e \u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003ca class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-underline text-strikethrough-none\" draggable=\"false\" href=\"https:\/\/lakansining.wordpress.com\/2019\/08\/06\/quezon-city-eulogio-rodriguez-sr-boulevard-the-history-of-the-philippine-tuberculosis-society-and-the-quezon-institute\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003eQuezon Institute\u003c\/a\u003e\u003cspan class=\"OYPEnA text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"\u003e, before taking further studies at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and the Texas Medical Center, in Houston, Texas, USA.
