Carlos “Cee” Cadid, was born in Hagonoy, Bulacan in 1954 and commenced his professional artistic career in 1976, as a member of the “Saturday Group”, which was then headed by H. R. Ocampo.

Artist Sonofrio Y. Mendoza has been Cee’s closest mentor, providing him with much of his guidance and inspiration which has helped to shape his talents to the point where he is now recognized as one of the finest portrait and “realism” artists in the Philippines. Amongst his more notable work are portraits of the Juan Ponce Enrile family, Ramon Cojuangco, Freddie Aguilar, Mr. & Mrs. Joe Guingona, Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach, 2018 Miss Universe Catriona Gray and many more.
